We booked a charter out of Placencia with Geoff and Izzy. It was absolutely amazing and a highlight of our trip.

The day started out with fresh baked bread and muffins from Izzy, and then we sailed to a remote area with beautiful water and white sandy beaches.

Izzy made us a wonderful lunch and even a homemade “ice” cake for our friend’s birthday. We then sailed back to catch the sunset. Geoff and Izzy shared some good stories of their travels and made us feel like instant friends.

If you get a chance when you are in Belize look them up, you won’t regret it.

Loved our 5 days here!!

5 Star chef – great snorkeling – wonderful kayaking! Most of all – we loved the time we spent with the two of you.

These were 5 days when we could leave the world behind and find the best pieces of ourselves and each other – for that we thank you. We were also able to find an additional beautiful piece of our world – we add one every year on our “girl trip”.

Geoff, we felt so safe in your expert hands – something that we and our families back home are grateful for.

We just got back from 10 days in Placencia, Belize and our day on Dreaming On with Geoff and Iza was the absolute highlight!

We were there for a 60th birthday celebration and Geoff and Iza pulled out all of the stops to make it special, including birthday signs and an amazing homemade Banoffee Fridge birthday cake.

The sail to Moho Caye was an absolute delight and the fears of it being choppy because of the wind were put to rest with Geoff's sailing skills. We had access to all the toys including snorkel gear, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, noodles, an innertube, and fishing equipment, which was a request of the birthday boy.

Both Geoff and Iza were extremely welcoming and eager to share their knowledge of sailing. Iza's cooking was to die for with pastries for breakfast, fish tacos for lunch, and homemade pizza snacks as we were departing the boat. If our sail out was amazing, our sail back was breathtaking. Geoff timed it perfectly for us to get a picture perfect view of a beautiful sunset.

We couldn't have asked for a better day or for two better people to share it with.

Thank you, Geoff and Iza, for making us feel so special and inviting us into your world and home.

Thank you for sharing your world with us over this New Year’s week. These memories will last, especially for the kids.

We loved staying at Funk Caye. The snorkeling was the best we have ever experienced. Catching conch and lobster was an exciting and productive task. Even though the permit didn’t find my line, I’ll chase them again so they can cause my heart rate to shoot up!

We appreciate most your service and attentiveness to needs of others – always surprising us with all the extras which we definitely noticed. The food, preparation and presentation goes without saying! We ate like Kings and Queens, thank you for your excellence.

This trip was finalized only a few months ago but we are so happy we were able to spend this week in Paradise with you both to celebrate the New Year.

We look forward to many great things for you two this year, and we won’t say “goodbye” but only “Until we meet again!”

The food – Iza, we don’t know how you do it – we can’t even imagine how you come up with all the delicious food. Our Thanksgiving traditional meal was beyond expectations. As a family, we cannot decide what was the best, as all of it was superb!! Geoff, your knowledge of the islands and Belize was enjoyable to listen to. Your stories are interesting and kept us entertained. The sailing was great, and your islands were absolutely stunning. Glad we got to see them and enjoy.

November 2022 – Dallas

This was our first time in Belize and first-time sailing and you made it a wonderful experience! We had an entire season of experiences and enjoyment in a mere four days…. It was beyond expectations. It was a treasure to see so much of the reef and sea – and we enjoyed each of the cays especially Driftwood and Funk Caye. The wildlife was far more plentiful than the crowds (which is how we like it). We’ll always remember the soaring frigates and the plunging pelicans as well as the eagle ray that leapt past us while snorkelling…. Not to forget the massive, odd thing we saw swimming at Driftwood which was likely a cobia (or sea monster…the jury is still out).
Kayaking and SUP was great – as the weather could not have been better…. Even the night time squalls were an interesting experience. Visiting King Lewey Island and Ray Cay were great ideas – the family enjoyed seeing them.
The yacht was a superb “Home Away from Home”-and met our every need. While we enjoyed every moment, our favourite time was simply sitting together as a family on the bow, cruising and watching the sea - and stargazing in the evening and enjoying conversation in the cockpit.
We can’t say enough about the food Iza! Every meal was stunning and better than the best restaurants we’ve tried – we love great food, and you exceeded every expectation! Thank you for the Anniversary cake.

Where to begin? Geoff & Iza are super knowledgeable about all the islands and waters around Placencia (and more), great sailors, fun to hang out with, inspiring to chat with, and all-round incredible hosts!

Our three teenagers (and the parents) couldn't get enough of the fresh baked bread and muffins every day, and we couldn't believe the incredible meals that Iza was able to cook up for 7 consecutive days out on the water.

Geoff & Iza accommodated all of our itinerary requests easily, suggested great options to explore, and the boat had everything we needed from snorkeling gear to reef safe sunscreen to paddle boards and kayaks.

Couldn't recommend this trip enough!

What a fabulous week and just what we needed to relax and decompress from the stresses of Covid and these crazy times.

Dreaming On is a very comfortable home on the sea and we were treated like royalty with freshly baked bread, muffins and cookies (we have never seen that in many years of chartering!) and Iza’s upscale, creative and delicious cuisine.

Geoff was a fantastic guide to the islands and reefs of southern Belize. We have never been to a place where we are the only boat in the bay, night after night! The reefs were pristine, unbleached and teeming with life. We had such a wonderful time. Thanks so much for everything.
